How great is this picture? Dad's outfit is so sweet! Those pants, that belt! Jon was so tiny. And who smokes around babies? Dads in the year 1972, that's who! Times sure have changed.
Today is the anniversary of Dad's death. 17 years now. My, how time flies. I love you, Dad.

Ah the good old polyester leisure suit! I never had one myself, lucky me (read, too cheap, and not in need of "good" clothes yet in 1972). As for the tobacco, we were young and foolish then, well, Daddio was (I got sick trying to start smoking and quit after 2 cigarettes).
