When Ryan and I started talking about getting married, it scared me. I'd done it once before and it wasn't that great of an experience. I said to him, "I am not getting divorced again. You're going to be stuck with me, no matter what. You'll either have to die or kill me to set yourself free."
He answered, "Well, I'm not getting divorced again, either. So you'll be stuck, too."
I felt a lot better after that. So did he. We eventually made it to the altar.
So a song that I want to play at my wedding? As in "some day"? Not gonna happen. Renew our vows? Not gonna happen, either. Our day was too perfect to ever try to recreate. Looking back at our incredible wedding, though, I think that the only thing that might have made it better would have been this song: The Redwalls - Thank You. It's kind of Ryan's song to me. He plays it on the guitar and sings it to me sometimes. Be still, my beating heart!
