30 Day Song Challenge: A song from my childhood (29/30)
Sorry, folks, but they didn't make videos back in the day. You had to listen to the record and look at the cover! And that's what you'll get to see today!
This is obviously a very early memory of mine, considering The Doobie Brothers released What A Fool Believes in 1978. That would have made me... what... 4 years old. Really? I was 4? Wow. I remember our babysitter (one of the Thompson girls? Jen?) playing this song on our parents' stereo over and over. My brother and I learned the words to the chorus and sang them at the top of our lungs, much to our babysitter's chagrin. She kept trying to get us to stop... and being the naughty kids we were, it only made us sing louder.
No wise man has the power!
